At work: I am an estate and elder law attorney, licensed to practice in Virginia and North Carolina. We started Oast & Taylor in 2012 on card tables and folding chairs, and have now grown to four offices in two states. I assist clients with their estate planning, long-term care planning, estate and trust administration, and special needs planning.
Home and family: I was born in Norfolk and grew up in Chesapeake. I now live in the Larchmont area of Norfolk with my wife (we met in law school) and our son, 3, and daughter, 10 months.
Volunteer activities: I have served on the board of directors for Tidewater Arts Outreach for the past five years, and also serve on the board for the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I am a member of the Virginia Beach Task Force on Aging, and am a volunteer coach for a team of middle-school students for the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association mock trial tournament. My wife and I are also active at our church.
